The 9780 is a rechargeable NiMH battery pack designed for the MR8870 Memory Recorder and the LR8431 and LR8432 Data Loggers. It enables flexible and portable operation of the instruments, making it ideal for measurements in locations where AC power is not available. At the same time, it also serves as a reliable backup power source during AC power interruptions, allowing measurements to continue without interruption.
The battery pack is charged directly inside the instrument. The charging status is indicated by an LED on the device, and a full charge takes approximately 200 minutes.
The HIOKI 9780 has a nominal voltage of 3.6 V and a capacity of 1500 mAh.
When a 9780 is installed in an instrument, the approximate runtimes are as follows:
- MR8870: 2 hours
- LR8431: 2.5 hours
- LR8432: 2.5 hours
