American Amplifier Research (AR) was founded in 1969 when two men began designing amplifiers for test applications in their basement. Today, AR is part of the Ametek Group and manufactures RF and microwave amplifiers for EMC applications with a range of 10 Hz to 50 GHz and 1 to 50,000 W, antennas with 15,000 W and a range of 10 kHz to 50 GHz, wireless and EMC test systems, field test equipment and much more.
