The HIOKI BT3554-50 is the newest generation in HIOKI’s line of portable battery testers, building on decades of expertise since the company’s first model was launched in 1986. Designed for versatility, it supports two voltage ranges (6 V and 60 V) and four resistance ranges (3 mΩ to 3 Ω), making it suitable for a wide variety of battery types and capacities.
Measurements can be performed without disconnecting the battery from the system, simplifying maintenance and significantly reducing downtime.

With a measurement time of less than two seconds, the BT3554-50 is ideal for testing batteries in tight or hard-to-access spaces. HIOKI’s advanced noise reduction technology ensures precise results even in environments with strong electrical noise. An integrated comparator function (PASS, WARNING, FAIL) instantly evaluates battery condition based on user-defined thresholds, allowing quick on-site decisions.

The BT3554-50 also streamlines data handling with comprehensive data management features. Up to 6,000 measurement records can be stored in internal memory, and with the optional Z3210 Bluetooth® adapter, results can be wirelessly transferred to a smartphone or tablet. Using the free GENNECT Cross app, users can perform real-time data analysis, generate reports, and upload pass/fail profiles directly to the instrument—boosting productivity in field maintenance.

For PC-based workflows, a USB interface enables direct data transfer and device control via the free GENNECT One Windows software. Alternatively, measurement results can be sent directly to Excel by setting the tester as a Human Interface Device (HID), providing simple, driver-free integration into existing data management systems.

A wide range of optional test leads and accessories ensures stable contact with different battery terminals and suits various installation environments. The BT3554-50 is purpose-built for field use, featuring auto-hold and auto-memoryfunctions that automatically detect and record new measurements without user input.

Please note that with this model (BT3554-50), the 9465-10 and L2020 test leads are optional accessories. Other models in the BT3554 series may include a test lead and/or Bluetooth® adapter as standard.
