Parameters and specifications
The CISPR25 chamber is designed for benchtop testing of automotive components and wiring harnesses. The MVG CISRP25 chamber is designed for a required test distance of 1 m and for a "typical benchtop" configuration of 2.5 m x 1.0 m. The unique design requires less volumetric space than traditional absorbers, yet provides the volume needed for the required EUT and absorber-wall-to-ceiling distances. The chamber is designed with an anechoic treatment that meets the specified attenuation in the CISRP25 standard, and is designed to meet the long lead tests specified in Annex J. The polypropylene absorber is not subject to the typical deterioration due to aging that is typical of "foam" polyurethane absorbers. The UH Series polypropylene absorber is also applicable to radar pulse testing as required by some automotive test standards.
