Detailed Product Description
The CM4371-90 Clamp Multimeter is an essential tool for electricians, service engineers, and maintenance professionals who need precise current measurement across both small and large loads. Packed with features yet intuitive to use, it delivers True RMS accuracy and reliable performance for everyday field work. The CM4371-90 comes as a set consisting of the CM4371-50 Clamp Multimeter and the Z3210 Bluetooth adapter, providing wireless capability right out of the box.
With dual current ranges of 20 A and 600 A AC/DC, this model offers unique flexibility within the series. Low-current measurements benefit from improved resolution and accuracy in the 20 A range, while the 600 A range handles larger loads with ease. Voltage measurement up to 1000 V AC/DC covers most applications, and when paired with the optional P2010 High Voltage Probe, the instrument can measure up to 2000 V DC in CAT III environments, enabling safe testing of photovoltaic strings and EV batteries. True RMS technology ensures accurate results even with distorted waveforms.
Versatile multimeter functions
Beyond current and voltage, the CM4371-90 also functions as a versatile multimeter: it measures resistance, capacitance, continuity, diode polarity check, and DC power. Automatic AC/DC detection and advanced display options (Max/Min/Avg, PEAK values, filter function, manual/auto hold, pass/fail judgement) simplify daily tasks and save time.
The included L9300 test leads are designed with the user in mind. Their slide-type mechanism allows the metal tips to be extended or retracted, making removable caps – and the risk of losing them – a thing of the past. This simplifies handling and enables a safe switch between short tips for higher CAT ratings and fully extended tips for tight measurement points.
Bluetooth and safety ratings
With the included Z3210 Bluetooth adapter, measurement data can be transferred directly to the GENNECT Cross app on iOS or Android smart devices for easy wireless logging and reporting. In addition, the app enables harmonic analysis from 1st to 30th order for extended diagnostic capability.
In terms of safety, the CM4371-90 complies with CAT IV 600 V / CAT III 1000 V. Furthermore, when used with the optional P2010 High Voltage Probe, it also complies with CAT III 2000 V. Its housing is robust and rated IP54 for dust and splash resistance, ensuring safe operation on construction sites and in harsh outdoor conditions.
Made in Japan
HIOKI has been a trusted name in current sensing technology for decades, and this expertise flows directly into the design of HIOKI‘s clamp multimeters. The CM4371-90 was designed and is manufactured in Japan at HIOKI‘s own factories in Nagano Prefecture, built for accurate measurements, dependable performance and years of reliable use.
