Humidity control types
- standard modes: unsaturated control and wet saturated control
- M/MD models additionally offer wet and dry bulb control
Air-HAST (optional feature for M/MD models)
- adding air to the test area allows simulation of high temperature, humidity and pressure environments, which is effective for testing degradation caused by oxidation of sample surfaces
- reduction of moisture resistance testing time for lead-free solder from 1000-3000 hours to approximately 200 hours at 110 °C and 85% RH
- optimised design: the cylindrical pressure vessel ensures even pressure distribution and allows easy insertion of larger samples such as printed circuit boards
- prevention of condensation: the double cylindrical structure and the inherent air conditioning system prevent condensation and dripping of water on the samples
- air circulation fan: minimizes temperature and humidity variations in the test area for higher accuracy
- expandable connections: up to 72 colour-coded terminals for easy and accurate sample connection
- safety features: overheat and overpressure protection, safety door lock and sample power control in case of alarm
- user interface: 5.7" colour LCD touch panel with PC or tablet control
- automatic water supply: the device automatically replenishes the required amount of water for testing
- programmable testing: up to 10 test programs can be set
- compatibility: type M models fully comply with EIA/JEDEC A110 & 102C test methods
