IM3570 analyzer - basic setup and measurement:

    Detailed Product Overview

The HIOKI IM3570 unites the speed of an LCR meter with the versatility of an impedance analyzer, offering frequency coverage from 4 Hz to 5 MHz. It is built for both high-throughput production testing and in-depth R&D analysis.
With measurement speeds as fast as 0.5 ms at 100 kHz and 1.5 ms at 1 kHz, the IM3570 ensures efficient testing without sacrificing precision. A basic impedance accuracy of ±0.08%, phase accuracy of ±0.05°, and a guaranteed accuracy range from 1 mΩ to 200 MΩ deliver consistent, reliable results across a wide range of passive components.

    Versatile and Easy to Use

The IM3570 supports multiple operating modes, including LCR mode, which enables simultaneous DC resistance measurement, sweeps, and continuous testing. Built-in comparator and BIN judgment functions, along with frequency and level sweep capabilities, make it equally suited for automated test systems and laboratory measurements.
A 5.7″ color TFT touchscreen provides intuitive control and easy adjustment of test parameters. Standard interfaces—USB, LAN, RS-232C, GP-IB, and handler I/O—offer extensive options for system integration and data management.

    Optional Equivalent Circuit Analysis

For advanced analysis, the IM9000 Equivalent Circuit Analysis firmware is available as an option. It features five representative equivalent circuit models and can automatically determine the most suitable model from measurement data.
In addition to standard three-element R-L-C models, it supports a four-element model for piezoelectric device characterization, broadening its application range from general component analysis to piezoelectric resonator evaluation. The firmware also enables Nyquist (Cole-Cole) plots and admittance circle displays for deeper insight.

The IM9000 firmware must be purchased together with the instrument and cannot be installed later. Users who require equivalent circuit analysis should select the bundled version that includes both the IM3570 and IM9000. The standard IM3570 does not include this functionality.

    Flexible Fixture Ecosystem

A comprehensive selection of test fixtures ensures stable, repeatable connections for various component types. Available options include Kelvin clip leads for general use, direct-connection fixtures for leaded components, and SMD probesfor precise measurement of small surface-mount devices.
This flexible fixture lineup allows the IM3570 to adapt seamlessly to both R&D environments and automated production systems.

    Made in Japan

Designed and manufactured in Japan, the HIOKI IM3570 delivers outstanding measurement accuracy, ease of use, and long-term stability. It provides a dependable solution for both development laboratories and production lines, ensuring high performance and durability in every application.
