The Japanese company Junkosha Inc. was founded in 1954 as a manufacturer of electrical insulation tubes. It was one of the first manufacturing plants to use the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pressing technique. After a few years, the manufacturer focused on a fluorocarbon polymer known as "FEP100X" and started manufacturing wire, cable, tubing, foil, molded products and other basic products using fluorocarbon polymers. This laid the foundation for the company as it is known today.
