    The HIOKI LR8432 Heat Flow Data Logger is an enhanced variant of the LR8431, offering all the functions of the original model while adding direct input capability for heat flow sensors. This eliminates the need for manual conversion of sensor output voltages. The LR8432 also includes an additional 10 mV range—six ranges in total—providing an exceptionally fine voltage resolution of 500 nV.

    Designed for precise and efficient multichannel data acquisition, the LR8432 features 10 isolated analog channels and 4 pulse channels, enabling comprehensive monitoring across diverse applications. With a fast 10 ms recording interval, it reliably captures rapidly changing signals. Its six selectable voltage ranges from 10 mV to 60 VDC allow the instrument to adapt to a wide variety of industrial measurement tasks.

    Multiple power supply options ensure flexibility in both stationary and mobile environments. The included AC adapter supports 100 to 240 V AC, while the optional battery pack offers up to 2.5 hours of portable operation. For long-duration field measurements or in-vehicle use, the LR8432 can also be powered from a 10 to 16 V DC source, providing dependable operation under varying conditions.

    Analog voltage inputs and various thermocouples connect via M3 screw terminals. Heat flow sensors can be directly connected as well, with sensor sensitivity easily configured in the instrument’s settings. This enables the LR8432 to deliver direct, real-time heat flow measurements in W/m² without additional calculations.

    Equipped with a 16-bit delta-sigma A/D converter and HIOKI’s proprietary digital filtering technology, the LR8432 suppresses noise such as inverter switching spikes and line-frequency hum, ensuring stable and accurate measurements even in electrically noisy environments.

    With multiple storage options supporting capacities up to 16 GB, the LR8432 enables long-term, uninterrupted data logging. Integrated software tools streamline data review and analysis, improving overall workflow efficiency. Thanks to its portability, precision, and wide feature set, the LR8432 is a powerful solution for applications such as automotive testing, heat flow evaluation, electronics development, and HVAC system diagnostics.
