Detailed Product Overview
The modular LR8450-01 Data Logger is a highly versatile and scalable platform designed for professionals who require both speed and expanded channel capability. This high-speed, multi-channel system supports up to 120 channels using four plug-in modules, and when combined with seven wireless modules, the total channel count increases to 330. These wireless units can be placed in confined spaces or directly near the device under test, significantly reducing wiring effort and improving measurement accuracy. All captured data is transmitted via wireless LAN to the main unit and can be viewed in real time.
The LR8450-01 is equipped with a 16-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) for high-precision measurements. All compatible modules support direct voltage inputs up to 100 V and provide 300 V DC/AC CAT II isolation to earth, ensuring safe and reliable operation across diverse applications.
Seven module types are available, enabling measurement of voltage, current, temperature (thermocouples or Pt100/1000), humidity, resistance, strain, pulse signals, and CAN (FD) data. HIOKI current sensors further extend functionality, allowing high-accuracy AC/DC current logging from 2 A to 6000 A, with support for up to 55 directly connected sensors. The fast 1 ms recording interval makes the LR8450-01 ideal for capturing rapid signal fluctuations, while the 7" TFT display offers clear, real-time visualization for efficient on-site monitoring.
Designed for both stationary and mobile use, the LR8450-01 can operate for several hours on battery power, ensuring uninterrupted data logging in the field. Data can be stored on SD cards or USB drives, and retrieved easily via the Gigabit LAN interface. A DC input provides additional power supply flexibility. When wireless measurement modules are not in use, the logger itself can be controlled wirelessly from a PC, allowing the unit to be placed in restricted or hard-to-reach locations.
