Detailed Product Overview

The PD3259-50 is a compact digital phase rotation tester for three-phase systems. Unlike basic devices that only indicate phase sequence, it also measures true line-to-line voltages, frequency, and missing phases. This provides technicians with reliable data to quickly identify supply issues and prevent potential equipment damage.

Faster, safer testing with non-contact clamps 

The non-contact voltage clamps simply clip around insulated conductors, eliminating the need to expose live parts. This makes phase and voltage checks quicker, safer, and possible even in situations where direct electrical contact with the conductor would normally require higher qualifications or additional protective measures.

Rugged and field-ready, the instrument is rated CAT IV 600 V and IP54 for operation in demanding environments. For documentation and analysis, the optional Z3210 Bluetooth adapter can be added to connect the PD3259-50 to smart devices or a PC. Measurements can then be logged via HIOKI’s GENNECT Cross app on Android or iOS devices or transferred directly to Excel using the instrument’s HID (Human Interface Device) function.
