Hioki current probes - the smart solution not only for Hioki instruments

I guess this bunch of engineers don't quite know... But anyone who has ever measured current using current probes might have an idea - there might be some kind of power supply necessary to power these probes when they are not powered directly from the measuring instrument.

The pace of new product launches by the Japanese company Hioki has been - in the words of a classic - killer lately; one of the recently introduced innovations is the ergonomically completely redesigned CT6833 (200 A AC/DC) and CT6834 (500 A AC/DC) current clamps.
