Thanks to its antistatic and antibacterial properties as well as its high electrical and thermal conductivity, Shieldex conductive yarns can be used in a wide range of applications. Fully silver plated polyamide yarns can be twisted, knitted, embroidered, woven and spun as uncoated yarns. They are used, among other things, as electrical conductors for sensors, for the production of clothing and home textiles as well as smart textiles. Shieldex conductive fibres are marked with a titre in dtex and are offered in various designs, e.g. open, twisted or crimped.
