Shieldex® Military Command Post

The Shieldex® Mobile Command Post represents a new generation of mobile command centers designed for modern operations where speed, security, and adaptability are critical. In today’s environment, where operations are often conducted by dispersed units and within contested electromagnetic spectrum conditions, command posts are no longer just shelters but a key element in maintaining decision-making tempo.

This system combines advanced EMC shielding with high mobility in a unique textile-based solution. Compared to traditional container systems, it offers significantly lower weight (approx. 30 kg without the frame), easy transport, and immediate readiness for deployment. The entire system can be transported as luggage or on a pallet, significantly simplifying logistics and strategic transport.

The Shieldex® Mobile Command Post achieves shielding effectiveness of up to 95 dB across an extremely wide frequency range from 0.03 to 40 GHz, ensuring reliable protection of sensitive communication and IT systems against electromagnetic interference and eavesdropping. The system has been tested in cooperation with the German Federal Office for Information Security and is designed for protection according to NATO Zone 2 standards, with a Zone 1 version currently under development.

The design enables extremely rapid deployment without tools – a fully operational command post can be set up or dismantled within 30 minutes. An inflatable version is available for maximum deployment speed, as well as a robust aluminum frame for stable long-term use.

The system is fully modular and scalable – from compact single-room setups to large multi-room command centers. The standard configuration includes a main chamber and an antechamber, providing additional protection during entry and exit.

The Shieldex® Mobile Command Post is designed for a wide range of applications, including Tactical Operations Centers (TOC), Mobile Command Posts (MCP), special operations, and protection of critical infrastructure. It enables a secure environment for voice and data communication, briefings, and operational command directly in the field.

A major advantage is its ability to integrate into existing infrastructure. The system is compatible with common military tent systems (e.g., Schall, Lanco) and can be easily connected to existing facilities, mobile barracks, or command shelters without the need for replacement.

The solution also offers extensive customization options – from size and layout to technical equipment (ventilation, lighting, power supply, I/O panels) and frame systems.
