Shieldex® Shielding Curtains

Shieldex® Shielding Curtains are a professional solution for effective shielding of electromagnetic waves and protection against signal interference. They are designed for use wherever reliable radio communication must be ensured, interference prevented, or a shielded zone created for sensitive technologies.

The curtains achieve shielding effectiveness of up to 95 dB across a wide frequency range from 0.3 to 18 GHz. This enables them to effectively limit the impact of external RF signals and stabilize wireless communication in demanding operational environments.

Typical applications include large warehouses, logistics centers, industrial facilities, and production halls, where signal interference can cause errors, communication dropouts, or loss of efficiency. By implementing shielding curtains, operational errors can be minimized, productivity increased, and costs reduced.

A very popular use case is RFID tunnels for entry and exit zones, where the curtains help precisely control RFID tag reading without unwanted signal overlap.

Shieldex® Shielding Curtains offer high installation flexibility. They can be mounted using eyelets, Shieldex® VELCRO® hook-and-loop fasteners, or other fixing systems depending on the specific application. Thanks to their textile structure, they can easily adapt to different shapes and spatial geometries.

Mobile shielding walls with a portable frame are also available, enabling quick deployment in industrial environments or warehouses without the need for structural modifications.

The curtains can be enhanced with a protective polyester layer Delinova® FR/200 on one or both sides. This material is flame-retardant according to DIN 4102/B1, resistant to water, oil, dirt, and weather conditions, and available in various colors.

By combining materials such as Shieldex® Nora Dell, Zell RS, Berlin RS, and Delinova® FR/200, a solution precisely tailored to customer requirements can be created, offering excellent shielding performance.
