ST5520 Insulation Tester

The ST5520 tester is designed for fast and reliable insulation testing directly in production lines where high demands are placed on test speed and safety. Tests are completed in as little as 50 ms, significantly reducing production cycle times compared to legacy solutions.

The instrument automatically verifies proper contact with the device under test and detects micro-short circuits before insulation testing begins, eliminating erroneous or false-pass results. After the test is completed, residual voltage is rapidly discharged, enhancing the safety of both the operator and the tested device.

The test voltage is continuously adjustable in the range of 25 to 1000 V DC in 1 V increments. Upper and lower limit values can be freely set according to application requirements. For quick switching between test setups, up to 10 measurement configurations can be stored using the Panel Save/Load function.

With RS-232C and external I/O interfaces, the ST5520 is fully prepared for integration into automated test systems, communication with PLCs or PCs, and use in dedicated machines, particularly in the automotive industry.
