    Parameters and specifications

    To ensure the safe use of electrical products, electrical safety tests such as insulation resistance test, high voltage applied (hipot test), protective earth connection test and leakage current test must always be carried out. It is for the latter tests, i.e. for leakage current testing, and specifically only in an industrial environment, that this instrument is exclusively designed. The ST5541 is not intended for measurements according to medical standards. Use the ST5540 for this purpose.
