AFV+ Series Earns International Recognition. Proven Performance, Trusted Worldwide

Preen's Suzhou manufacturing plant was visited by an independent test lab to perform verification measurements of the AFV+ Series programmable AC power supply on-site. The main objective of the measurement was full-load operation at output voltages of 227 V and 554 V to ensure stable and reliable performance when charging electric vehicles. The tested model has a total capacity of 1500 kVA with up to 50 kVA per phase and the test results were very positive.

High performance with clean output

Featuring advanced PWM high frequency switching technology, the AFV+ delivers pure sine wave with THD ≤ 0.5% and load control ≤ 0.5%. The output frequency is fully adjustable (45-500 Hz or 45-120 Hz depending on model), providing maximum flexibility and control. With a capacity of up to 2000 kVA per unit, the AFV+ series is designed for applications with high load and power requirements.

Programmability and fault simulation

From voltage dips to grid outages, the AFV+ series can simulate non-standard grid conditions using STEP/RAMP functions. It is fully programmable and therefore ideal for dynamic and complex test sequences.

Intelligent protection architecture

The AFV+ has 29 protection types, including overvoltage, undervoltage and overcurrent, plus a log of up to 255 events and faults, ensuring system safety and supporting diagnostics.

Certification and compliance

EV chargers must meet strict EMC and safety standards - and so must the test equipment. The AFV+ series is CE certified and compliant with global safety and EMC standards, providing a reliable basis for pre-certification and performance testing.

Communication and management

Ideal for Industry 4.0 environments, AFV+ supports RS-232/RS-485 (standard) and optional Ethernet, analog and GPIB. In conjunction with Preen Program software, it allows you to fully automate and control testing.
